Do you spend your time doing what you love?

Time is the central part of life. Every second that it moves on, you change. As time moves on, nothing you do can ever be repeated exactly the same. This is why it is so important to take time to do the things that you love. People make many excuses why they can’t do what they love to do, but anything is possible when you let go of your insecurities. If you are too afraid to fall, you will never learn to fly. Change your expectations and do what you love just because you love it. Don’t just wait for that employer from your dream job to call you and offer you a position, while you’re waiting take time to perfect your craft and do what you love just for fun. Though you don’t get paid for it doesn’t mean you can’t use it to keep you happy and bring joy to others. You can start by:

Warren Buffett: Do What You Love

  1. Making Time: Pencil in a few hours every week to enjoy your talents. For example: If you love to dance, join a dance class or club for leisure to be in the presence of others who appreciate dance, and to increase your knowledge.
  1. Don’t Doubt Yourself: Everyone has a gift; you have to learn to appreciate your own gift before you can expect others to appreciate it.
  1. Don’t Lose It to Time: Life can get so busy once families and careers become involved; this forces you to postpone things in order to accommodate your lifestyle. You have to incorporate your talents into your life to maintain your livelihood, because the more you postpone it the more it escapes you.
