Let’s go back in time. Think back to when you were a child and the one thing you treasured the most. Think of how you wouldn’t let go of it and if anyone dared to challenge you, the resistance that you would put up.
Now fast forward to adulthood. Do you have that same determination now that you did then? Or are you losing your grip and easily letting go? Honestly, we all have been there at some point in our lives. We’ve allowed our circumstances to dictate our lives instead of speaking to them. In many cases it’s much easier to give in, right? No! Life is not a beautiful flower garden filled with sweet peachy scents. Most of the time, life stinks… IF you let it. We have to be determined to suit up every day and go into battle. To get to a certain point in life and then allow all that you have to be snatched away makes no sense at all. For all that you have given up on, all that you have lost, it’s not too late to go back and get it all back. Be determined that you are going to fight.
Take back your mind
We must do all we can to keep our minds right! This is your friendly everyday reminder to not listen to those negative thoughts that pop up in your mind. Don’t listen to the lies of low self-esteem or entertain low self-worth trying to take up residence in the crevices of your mind. Say NO! Kick them out! Serve an eviction notice and change the locks. No longer is all that filth welcomed.
Taking back your peace
There is nothing like peace. When you can sit in the stillness of your thoughts without your mind racing and having anxiety, then you know you have peace. When you are not bothered by what’s going on around you even though it doesn’t look good, then you have peace. When your faith works and walks ahead of you … You got it, peace. Do not, under any circumstance, allow your peace to be snatched or disturbed.
Taking back your life
Stability, clarity of mind and staying in peace are the bricks you want to lay your solid foundation with. When you become a rock, you can make significant strides and walk in purpose as it becomes clearer. You are not easily moved by the hurdles of life. Purposing to take all that is yours is a daily fight. Yes, it is very tiring to make a conscious effort to prepare for war every day. But are you the victim or the victor? Put up the fight and take it all back!
