Mental instability is something many of us are unable to recognize off the bat. We become so comfortable and familiar with certain situation that we put off looking out for different signs and behaviors. However, it’s imperative that we re-evaluate ourselves. Mental instability can vary on a wide range, and it’s something that anyone can deal with. It can however be watched and caught before it becomes damaging to your life.
A few signs to watch out for may be fear, loss of interest, depression, and anxiety. In some cases fear might begin to overtake you. You can begin to lose focus on the things you used to do; which may lead to depression and anxiety. You’ll always be on edge. Also when you become the victim and possess characteristics of uncertainty and blaming others, you may be displaying signs of mental imbalance.

Mental imbalance can be avoidable. Many times we are experiencing these imbalances because of what may be going on in our lives. And most times, it’s during difficult moments or when things are out of place. We can avoid or rectify it by using these four simple steps. 1) Acknowledge reality. 2) Own it. 3) Find solution. 4) Fix it.
We must recognize and see the difficulty for what it is. Even if it’s an extreme case, we must own it. Then realize where and how the issue came about. At that moment we can come up with different solutions that will allow us to fix the situation. When we set out with a purpose and know what we want the end result to be, we can stay on the right track mentally.
